Notable - Animatic
Writer & Storyboarder
In 2019, while studying at DaVinci Multimedia School, I participated in a contest where every student was required to write, storyboard, and create an animatic for a short film. After presenting our animatics to the professors and classmates, we voted to determine the winning concept, which would then be produced collaboratively by the entire class over several sessions.
For this event, I developed a short film titled Notable, which tells the story of Newtone, a musical note in a Jazz Club that struggles to find its place in a song. Despite its efforts, the note ultimately becomes the crucial final note that completes the composition.
In addition to the animatic, I created a Project Bible that included character designs, a visual premise, and background art. Although Notable earned second place in the voting, losing to Los Monstruos No Existen, the experience was invaluable.
While Notable was never produced, you can explore the work I did on the project below.
